My name is Greg Woodard and I am running for District Judge for the 4th District. During the more than 26 years that I have been practicing law in both the public and private sector, I believe I have acquired the experience needed to meet the demands and importance of a position as a state court judge in the Fourth Judicial District. More importantly, I feel like I have the temperament needed to handle complex and sometimes contentious cases and the ability to apply the law to the facts of each case and reach a just and fair decision.

During my career, I have handled constitutional cases including defending Idaho’s election and spending laws. I have handled death penalty cases. I also have represented large, midsize, and small companies and individual business owners in civil matters ranging from the tens of millions to thousands of dollars. 

If you live in Ada, Elmore, Valley, or Boise counties, on May 19, 2026, all of you have the chance to vote for me. District court judge is a nonpartisan election, so whether you are a Democrat, Republican, independent, or no party at all, I am asking you for your support.
